Bob Vylan ‘Dream Big’ On Latest Single

Bob Vylan have dropped their latest single ‘Dream Big’ – and it’s huge.

The anthemic new tune is the duo’s first new material since last year’s single ‘The Delicate Nature’.

It was written with a sense of the pair’s younger selves in mind and to get in that spirit enlists Bobby Vylan’s daughters, nieces and nephews on backing vocals.

Speaking of the family involvement in the tune, Bobby’s said:

“As I see them growing and finding things they’re passionate about, it reminds me how important it is to continue having those childlike dreams of what we can accomplish in our lives.”

Have a listen to the mammoth tune below.

The video flashes some of Bob Vylan’s most memorable moments over the past few momentous years, which includes their win for the MOBO Awards’ inaugural Best Alternative Award and their Glastonbury appearance.

Further describing how new track ‘Dream Big’ is an empowering ode to believing in yourself, Bobby added:

“Growing up, dreaming of making some kind of positive change in the world or doing something you love wasn’t presented as a realistic option. Working class people are often too focused on getting by to have the luxury of ‘dreaming big’, fortunately, I was delusional.

“And we want to encourage that “delusional” belief in oneself to accomplish whatever they want to in this world.”

Having already brought their punk-rock energy to the likes of Download, 2000 Trees and TRSNMT this summer, the pair are also set to take to the stage at festivals Greenman, Boardmasters, Latitude and more.

This’ll all come before they hit the road on a UK tour later this year – see the full dates below and visit the band’s site for more information and to buy tickets.

The tour will feature Kid Bookie and Panic Shack as special guests, and Meryl Streek as support for their Ireland dates.
