‘This World Fucking Sucks’ will be released on August 23 2024 via 23 Recordings.

And if the release of two new singles to mark the news of the LP wasn’t enough, the alt icon has also announced a UK and European headline – and a US co-headline tour with Yonaka.

It’s definitely a momentous period for Cassyette, who just joined Bring Me The Horizon on their UK arena tour, through which she’ll also play two consecutive shows at London’s O2 Arena this weekend.

For now, have a listen to ‘Why Am I Like This?’ via the official visualiser below.

Describing her anticipation for her forthcoming debut album, as well as some of the pain and emotion that went into it, Cassyette has said:

“I’m so excited for the release of my first album. I’ve put in so much work and I’ve collaborated with so many amazing and talented people and I’m so grateful to see it brought to life.

“Since my Dad’s passing, I’ve tried my best to not surrender to the darkness that comes with grief. It’s from that darkness that ‘This World Fucking Sucks’ was born, and I really hope to do him proud, and that anyone that’s going through the same thing takes comfort in listening to it. We’re in this together.”

‘Why Am I Like This?’ and ‘Ipecac’ marks the artist’s first new music since last year’s ‘BOOM’ and the first full project since 2022’s ‘Sad Girl’ mixtape which featured fan-favourites ‘Mayhem’, ‘Sad Girl Summer’ and ‘September Rain’.

Cassyette’s massive UK and European headline tour will be her biggest yet, with 17 dates across Europe, including shows in London, Paris, Berlin and more.

It’ll be preceded by ‘The Riot Tour’ across the US’s East Coast with Yonaka, which kicks off next month.

What’s more, she’ll also join Bryan Adams for a string of outdoor summer shows.
