Ghost have just shared what appears to be a film trailer to their socials.
We can hazard a guess that’s what it is given the 30-second clip ends with the messaging, “Coming soon to cinemas worldwide”.
In fact, we already knew the theatrical rock outfit were working on a film, following a Metal Hammer interview with Tobias Forge – the frontman and creator of Papa Emeritus IV – in which he said:
“We were essentially shooting a film and we used two nights of crowds as extras… It’s going to be a film with a concert element.
“So a lot of what you experienced [at the two LA shows] is going to be part of this project.”
He added that the final project is “a concert with something else combined.”
The new teaser sees the iconic frontman bowing atop a flight of stairs.
Midway through the clip, however, a woman flashes on-screen, with many bright sparks online suggesting it’s a reference to Father Karras’ dream in ‘The Exorcist’.
