The nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards have been announced today (November 10) with Paramore, Spiritbox and Ghost among the potential winners.
In the rock categories, Paramore, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Greta Van Fleet and Queens Of The Stone Age will compete for Best Rock Album. Paramore are also nominated in the Best Alternative Music Performance category for ‘This Is Why’.
Best Rock Album:
Foo Fighters – ‘But Here We Are’
Greta Van Fleet – ‘Starcatcher’
Metallica – ’72 Seasons’
Paramore – ‘This Is Why’
Queens of the Stone Age – ‘In Times New Roman…’
Foo Fighters and QOTSA are also nominated for Best Rock Song for ‘Rescued’ and ‘Emotion Sickness’ respectively. Boygenius, The Rolling Stones and Olivia Rodrigo round out that category.
Foos and Metallica are also up for Best Rock Performance alongside Boygenius, Arctic Monkeys and Black Pumas.
Meanwhile, Spiritbox, Slipknot, Disturbed, Ghost and Metallica are all in the running for Best Metal Performance.

Spiritbox – ‘Jaded’
The 66th annual Grammy Awards ceremony will take place February 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It will air on CBS and Paramount Plus.
