Hot Milk have shared new track ‘Breathing Underwater’ – the latest single from their forthcoming debut album ‘A Call To The Void’.
The emotive new song follows the pair’s release of ‘Horror Show’, ‘Party On My Deathbed’ and ‘Bloodstream’, all of which are also set to feature on the new LP which arrives August 25.
It also arrives with a video that, unsurprisingly, sees the Hot Milk pair of Hannah “Han” Mee and Jim Shaw underwater at times.

Describing why the new track has such a stirring delivery and how it configures in the forthcoming album, Mee has said:
“[‘Breathing Underwater’ is] like when you break your own heart. To feel like you’re drowning, gasping for air, frustrated and alone.
“This song embodies the emotion and spirit of our current headspace, and we feel it may be the most important song we’ve ever pulled from the universe. This is Hot Milk’s true heart. Hot Milk is an emotion.”
“We needed to write this song as a cry to the outside world. ‘Breathing Underwater’ is the beating heart and defining song off our debut album, it was written first and set off a chain reaction that moulded the feeling of A CALL TO THE VOID.
