MTV VMAs 2023: Blink-182, Linkin Park & More Nominated For Awards

The nominations for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards have been revealed with the likes of Blink-182, Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy and Paramore named among the rock and alternative categories.

In the Best Rock category, Foo Fighters' ‘The Teacher’, from latest album ‘But Here We Are’, is nominated alongside Linkin Park’s uncovered ‘Meteora’-era track ‘Lost’. Måneskin's ‘The Loneliest’, Metallica's ‘Lux Æterna’, Red Hot Chili Peppers' ‘Tippa My Tongue’ and Muse's ‘You Make Me Feel Like It’s Halloween’ round out the list.

Meanwhile, Blink-182’s comeback track ‘Edging’, Paramore’s ‘This Is Why’ and Fall Out Boy’s ‘Hold Me Like A Grudge’ are all nominated for Best Alternative, with Boygenius, Lana Del Rey ft. Jon Batiste and Thirty Seconds To Mars also in the running.

Fall Out Boy are also nominated in the Best Visual Effects category for the ‘Love From The Other Side’ video and Panic! At The Disco will compete for the Best Choreography award for ‘Middle Of A Breakup’.
