Outbreak Festival has announced Action Bronson as its 2024 headliner, adding to a lineup that already includes Basement, Show Me The Body and Hot Mulligan.
The Manchester-based festival is set to take place between June 28–30 at Bowlers Exhibition Centre, and will mark its thirteenth edition this year.
It was already announced that the Friday will see sets from JPEGMAFIA, hip-hop group Flatbush Zombies and experimental rock duo The Garden.
And now they have a headliner to add for the opening night too: Action Bronson.
The New York-raised rapper, presenter and hip-hop stalwart will no doubt bring his lyrical dexterity and character to the 7,500-capacity venue.
Saturday, meanwhile, will see sets from Soccer Mommy, Show Me The Body, Angel Du$t, Mannequin Pussy, Movements, Incendiary in what promises to be a hugely diverse, cross-genre lineup.
What’s more, Outbreak 2024 also promises to be a place for nostalgia, with sets from The Hotelier, Joyce Manor and Thursday all set to delve back into each band’s selected catalogues and celebrate a particularly seminal work.
Thursday, for instance, will perform a set comprised of tracks from two of their most celebrated works, ‘War All The Time’ and ‘Full Collapse’.
As a mark of Outbreak’s celebration of the new as well as the legendary too, Baltimore hardcore band End It, Leeds four-piece Bodyweb, and Glaswegian band Demonstration Of Power are all also on the billing.
