Royal Blood Announce Tenth Anniversary Edition Of Self-Titled Debut And New Live Shows

Royal Blood will be celebrating the tenth anniversary of their self-titled debut album, and have announced some very special shows too.

‘Royal Blood – 10th Anniversary Edition’ will be arriving August 10 and will include live versions, B-sides and unheard material.

The original LP, released in August 2014, went to No.1 in the charts and catapulted the band – comprised of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher – to acclaimed rock status, earning them a BRIT Award for Best British Group in the process.

Speaking about the release of the forthcoming commemorative album, the band have said:

“We can’t quite comprehend the fact that a decade has passed since the release of our debut album!

“The world, minds, and bodies we inhabit now feel somewhat unrecognisable to where it all began, yet the music on that record has remained a constant.

“It really did change our lives and we owe it everything.”

And to add to the celebratory mood, Royal Blood have also announced a handful of anniversary shows, starting with two London gigs at the O2 Academy Brixton, where they’ll be celebrating their debut in all its glory.
