Black Veil Brides Launch New Era With ‘Bleeders’ Single And EP Announcement

Black Veil Brides have launched a brand-new era with the release of their ‘Bleeders’ track and announced a forthcoming EP of the same name.

Andy Biersack and co.’s inaugural release with Spinefarm Records, the forthcoming EP promises to be “both a soundtrack and a signpost of everything BVB past, present, and future.”

As well as the title track, the project will feature a rendition of Sweeney Todd’s ‘My Friends’ and a faithful cover of U2’s ‘Sunday Bloody Sunday’.

To kick things off, BVB have shared an incredible cinematic video for the EP’s title track – have a watch of the Jensen Noen-directed video below, which also figures Sweeney Todd.

The Sweeney Todd references inevitably hold a special place in Biersack’s heart and creative faculties, having been taken back by the striking image of ‘Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street’ on the cover of his dad’s dusty CD, as a child.

That image paved the way for the ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Misfits’ and all that followed, culminating in the birth of Andy Black and the ascension of Black Veil Brides.

Plus, Black Veil Brides have just been named as the latest winners of our Rock Sound 25 Icon Award.

BVB have currently just got their American tour underway, with an incredible ensemble of support coming from Creeper, Dark Divine and Ghostkid.

The Bleeders Tour also sees a virtual blood drive in collaboration with the American Red Cross, with BVB fans having already pledged some 1577 pints of blood as of earlier this week (April 22) – with just one pint having the ability to save as many as three lives.

In a statement about the initiative, the band shared:

“As Bleeders, it’s our mission to effect positive change. Help us to help others in this time of need.”

‘Bleeders’ will mark the band’s first new project since 2022’s ‘The Mourning’.
