Blackout Problems Share Anthemic New Single ‘Stash’

Blackout Problems have released the latest cut from their forthcoming ‘RIOT’ album: the pulsating new single ‘Stash’.

The track follows the release of ‘PUZZLE’, ‘FUNERAL’ and the Rou Reynolds-featuring ‘GLOFS’, rivalling only the latter of those in its intensity, with its hazy guitars and angst-ridden lyrics.

It embodies the full spirit of the band’s mission: to create music with dark lyrics that leads to a healing process.

The full ‘RIOT’ project is set for release on February 23 via Sony and is available for pre-order now.

Despite being the album’s fourth single release, ‘STASH’ played a significant role within the making of the album, as one of the bedrock tracks upon which the project was created.

As songwriter, singer and producer Mario Radetzky has said of this latest track and the album as a whole:

“For me, the single was like a test to see how it works when I produce on my own.”

“On RIOT, I tried to open up and find my way to myself as well as out of myself. When you listen to the album, you learn things about me that I would never tell you.

“But maybe you’ll also learn something about yourself when you listen to it, because you’re not hearing my story and my mistakes, but projecting them onto your own life.”

Following their recent collaboration with Rou, Blackout Problems will be joining Enter Shikari on their European tour in February 2024.
