After a whirlwind year, Cody Frost has shared their latest single ‘WOT?’, which arrives with a terrific video.
2023 has seen the rising artist receive a nomination for UK Breakthrough Artist at the Heavy Music Awards, and support Enter Shikari on tour – as well as teaming up with them for the collaborative single ‘BULL’.
And now Frost has added to their list of achievements with the release of new single ‘WOT?’.
On the meaning behind the track, Cody Frost explained:
“‘WOT?’ is a song about a made up character who chooses downers as his main vice. It’s a sad tale about drug abuse in the music industry.
“I wanted to challenge the preconception around the industry being glamorous and party filled and really bring to light a big issue that a lot of creatives face, addiction.
“Whether it be addiction to the craft, or addiction to substances, there is always a craving for that buzz, or that release.”

Cody continues to make waves following the release of their ‘TEETH’ EP last year and collaborations with both Bury Tomorrow and You Me At Six.
In as well as playing 2000trees this summer, Cody enjoyed slots at the likes of Download, Make A Scene and Misery Loves Company, and just completed a tour as guest to Skindred.
