Elton John has expressed his admiration for Nova Twins in a new interview with the BBC.
Both artists will perform at Glastonbury Festival 2023 and ahead of his headline performance, Elton sat down with Radio 1’s Clara Amfo to talk through some of his favourite bands on the lineup.
On Nova Twins, he said “These girls rock my world…I’ve had them on the (Apple Music Radio) show, I’ve played their music. It’s so wonderful what they are doing. I’m so looking forward to seeing them live. You can feel what it’s gonna be like. They are just, for me, phenomenal…The energy from these girls could light up Sheffield.”
He concluded “Nova Twins, I love you to death. They’re gonna storm Glastonbury.”

Nova Twins will play on The Other Stage at Glastonbury this Sunday (June 25) at 1.45pm with Elton headlining the Pyramid Stage later that night.
