Playing at Quebec City’s Plaines d’Abraham on Sunday night, Billie Joe Armstrong and co. included the tune’s live debut among the show’s 24-track setlist.

They introduced it roughly two-thirds of the way into the set, in-between ‘Warning’ track ‘Minority’ and a cover of Operation Ivy’s ‘Knowledge’.

This song could be the first taste of the follow-up to 2020’s ‘Father Of All Motherfuckers’. The band have been working on new material in the UK for the last few months, teasing fans on social media with a rumoured album title of ‘1972’.

The punk-rock legends were playing at Festival d’été de Québec, a multi-genre music event held over eleven days which this year was also graced by Foo Fighters and Lamb Of God.

Among their upcoming live dates is a headline slot at When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas alongside Blink-182.
