In This Moment Share Title Track From Forthcoming ‘GODMODE’ album

In This Moment have released the second song and title track from their forthcoming album ‘GODMODE’, which arrives 27 October.

The Grammy-nominated band’s forthcoming eighth album was announced last month via the release of lead single ‘The Purge’.

That’s now been followed by the even more emphatic new single, which you can listen to via the visualiser below.

Describing the new track, In This Moment vocalist Maria Brink has spoken about the creative affinity she shares with fellow bandmate and guitarist Chris Howorth, and the origins of the song, saying:

“The lyrics came from feeling powerful and tribal and entrancing. The fact that Chris [Howorth] gets me so much that I can literally send him a voicemail and he sends it back to me in music form, shows how in tune we are.

“It’s been a long time since I screamed on an entire verse for a song. I wanted to release a bunch of stuff and it felt visceral.”

‘Godmode’ will be the follow-up to the band’s 2020 album ‘Mother’ and will also feature a collaboration with Ice Nine Kills vocalist Spencer Charnas.
