Meet Me @ The Altar Drop Anthemic New Single ‘Give It Up’

Meet Me @ The Altar have shared their latest headbanger ‘Give It Up’, and announced a deluxe version of their debut album ‘Past // Present // Future’.

Fresh off the back of their second North American headline tour in support of ‘Past // Present // Future’, the band are showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

The extended offering of their debut album will arrive September 29 and includes four new tracks, including ‘Give It Up’, as well as a cover of ‘Take Me Away’ from the classic 2000s fantasy-comedy, ‘Freaky Friday’.

Their latest track ‘Give It Up’ also arrives with a spirited, DIY video – have a watch and a listen below.

Explaining the track’s meaning and how it figures within the deluxe revamp of their debut album, the band have said:

“Give It Up is a song about frustration,” shared the group. “It’s about feeling lost, confused, and indecisive about which way to go. A big takeaway from this song is that sometimes you need help figuring it out.”

“Even though we love this song so much, we didn’t think it fit sonically with the initial tracklist of ‘Past // Present // Future’. We wanted the deluxe release to be a glimpse into another side of us, giving you a sound that’s fresh, new, and different.”

Next month, Meet Me @ The Altar will be supporting 5 Seconds of Summer on their North American arena tour, and in October, will head out on a headline tour of Europe.

October, Sat 28 – Leeds – The Key Club
