Northlane have shared ‘Dante’, their first new music since 2022 album ‘Obsidian’.
Marking the beginning of a new chapter for the band, ‘Dante’ was written last year by guitarist Jon Deiley as a “pure dance track”. Undergoing a year-long transformation, the song has been reworked to fit within the band’s iconic sound, with it’s lyrics exploding loss, grief, and overcoming.

Speaking on the new single, vocalist Marcus Bridge says:
“‘Dante’ is a song about losing someone close to us. As we try to process our grief, we are constantly asking ourselves questions, memories clouded with reminders of our loved one’s pain, wondering if there’s anything we could have done.”
Northlane will debut the track on their upcoming Australian tour in February 2024, with support from Erra, Landmvrks, and Banks Arcade.
