Paramore have announced that Talking Heads legend David Byrne has recorded a cover version of their 2017 single ‘Hard Times’.
The band will release a double-sided single on Record Store Day (April 20) featuring the track alongside their recently-released version of Talking Heads’ ‘Burning Down The House’, taken from the ‘Stop Making Sense’ tribute album in honour of that concert film’s 40th anniversary.
Paramore were also recently named as Record Store Day Ambassadors for 2024, saying “We are humbled to be your Ambassadors for Record Store Day 2024. The timing feels kismet. The discovery of music was always meant to be romantic. Indie record shops are some of the only spaces we’ve got that offer a tangible, tactile experience of music discovery.”
Elsewhere, they also just released a new music video for ‘Thick Skull’ taken from their 2023 album ‘This Is Why’.
