Brighton-based Sick Joy have released their latest single ‘Hypodermic Sunshine’, which has been produced by Nothing But Thieves’ Dom Craik.
The gritty new track is the third new music from the band following last year’s debut album ‘We’re All Gonna F***ing Die’ which arrived via So Recordings.
It follows the release of ‘Painkiller’ and ‘Turn Me Up’ earlier this year.

Speaking about the new tune and its message, Sick Joy frontman Mykl Barton has said:
“It’s kind of a messed up love song.
“I’m just saying thank you to the people, the things that pull you out of the darkest corners or the lowest spots.
“Maybe that’s a person, maybe that’s a song, whatever you needed.”
‘Hypodermic Sunshine’ arrives ahead of the band’s next run of UK dates, which commence in Brighton on September 01, before concluding on October 03 at London’s Sebright Arms.
