Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has hinted at plans for a special tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album.
Speaking with Chaoszine, he revealed that the band had discussed the idea of playing “a handful of shows all over the world” to mark the anniversary in 2024, but added “Now, don’t quote me on that! Best way to make God laugh is to announce your plans out loud. But that’s what we’re hinting at, it’s what we’re talking about.”
The album has been certified Platinum in the UK and features the classic ‘Wait And Bleed’ which has also been certified Gold.
Slipknot recently headlined the final night of Download Festival in the UK and Taylor’s solo album, ‘CMF2’, is set for release on September 15.
