Static Dress have released a surprise second volume of their Redux project, as well as a new video featuring Loathe, BVDLVD and Hail The Sun.
Following the release of ‘Rouge Carpet Disaster (Redux)’ last month, ‘Rouge Carpet Disaster Redux Vol 2’ comprises four new reworked and reimagined tracks taken from Static Dress’ debut album.
Boasting guest appearances from some great up-and-coming musicians, as well as a live version of the album’s lead single, ‘sweet.’ recorded at the Barclays Arena in Hamburg while on a European tour with Bring Me The Horizon, the release is accompanied by a brand new video for ‘Lye Solution’.
Now featuring UK genre-fluid titans Loathe, British alt-rap figurehead BVDLVD and American post-hardcore band Hail The Sun, you can check out the reimagined version of the track below.
Frontman Olli Appleyard recently talked Rock Sound through the entire creative process of ‘Rouge Carpet Disaster (Redux)’ as part of our ‘The Album Story’ series.
