Tenacious D have announced new UK and European arena shows for next year.
The ‘Tenacious D and the Spicy Meatball Tour’ will be rolling on into 2024, with new shows announced that include Stockholm, Dublin, Manchester and more.
The dates follow the comic duo’s sold-out UK and European arena tour this summer, which included a one-off show at London’s O2 in June.
In May, Tenacious D released their first original track in five years: the banjo-heavy ‘Video Games’.
One “Anonymous Rock Historian” has apparently said of the shows:
“It’s no joke. Tenacious D is the best band in the world and in the Spicy Meatball Tour they are at the peak of their powers. Better than the Beatles…better than the Stones…even better than Taylor Swift. And they have PYRO!!! Do not miss the spicy meatball…it’s D- licious!!!”
A message promoting the tour added that fans can expect all the greatest hits on this upcoming leg of the Spicy Meatball Tour along with a generous helping of Rocket Sauce!
