The Regrettes have announced their decision to split, and one more final show announced in their hometown next month.
The Los Angeles outfit announced the news on their socials, in a message that was both touching and tough for fans to take, giving the reason that they wanted to focus on other projects.
In their statement, they wrote:
“If you’re reading this or you’ve been to a show or bought a record, you’ve given us all some of the best years of our lives.
“After all these amazing years together, we are parting ways to focus on other projects. There is absolutely nothing but love in our hearts for each other and you all & we’re eternally grateful.”
They also announced one final send-off at The Fonda in their hometown of LA, adding:
“We will have one final show and would love to have you there to dance and celebrate the end of an incredible run. we love you and we’ll see you all around (on december 21st at the fonda in la!!) [Love], The Regrettes”
The band released their third and now final album ‘Further Joy’ in April last year, which featured the likes of fan favourites ‘Barely on My Mind’ and ‘Monday’.
