‘New Heart Designs’ reimagines three songs from Turnstile’s celebrated album ‘GLOW ON’.
The collaborative three-song EP sees the Baltimore hardcore band join forces with Toronto alt-jazz ensemble BADBADNOTGOOD to rework three tracks from 2021’s ‘GLOW ON’ – ‘Mystery’, ‘Underwater Boi’ and ‘Alien Love Call’.
Worlds away from the blistering heaviness of their original versions, the new tracks dial up the jazz influences, offering a more relaxed take on the band’s signature sound.
Turnstile have also shared a companion video for the EP, shot on tour by Fiddlehead/Basement’s Alex Henery. Check it out below:
Turnstile are set to play Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse on August 16.
Earlier this week, the band also threw out the first pitch at a baseball game in their home city of Baltimore.
