Watch Corey Taylor Sing The Spongebob Squarepants Theme With Voice Actor Tom Kenny

An unlikely collaboration formed when Corey Taylor joined Tom Kenny – who voiced SpongeBob in the series – to sing the theme song of the iconic Nickelodeon show.

At last weekend’s Huntington Comic And Toy Convention in West Virginia, Corey Taylor and SpongeBob voice actor Tom Kenny performed the much-loved theme with the backing of a full band.

Whilst the two may seem like an unlikely duo, it was seemingly a huge honour for the Slipknot frontman, who – after being introduced by Kenny – told the crowd, “This is the most nervous I’ve ever been in my whole career”.

Unsurprisingly though, he nailed it.

Funnily enough, it’s not the first time that Corey Taylor has offered up his rendition of the theme song, having been performing the cover at his solo shows for over a decade.

With his new album ‘CMF2’ set for release on September 15, Corey Taylor will be touring the UK later this year.
