A collection of earnest, heartbreaking, hopeful songs about life, death, loneliness and longing that everybody can see themselves in in some way, it is some of the band’s best work.

And they have produced a whole documentary about it, just to show how proud they are of it.

‘Coughing Up Embers’ is its name and features interviews with the whole band, Mark Hoppus, Will Yip, Steve Everett, Hanif Abdurraqib and more, taking us through everything that makes the album what it is.

It’s honest, candid, beautiful and inspiring, and is essential for anybody who loves the band.
