When We Were Young Festival gave us another dose of onstage collabs, as Simple Plan brought out a huge number of guests for 2002 classic ‘I’m Just A Kid’.
The moment on the second day of the fest gave us some pure pop-punk nostalgia – and a whole load of incredible names all in one place.
Simple Plan brought out Jax, Cassadee Pope, Goldfinger’s Mike Herrera, Bowling For Soup’s Jaret Reddick, and Plain White T’s Tom Higgenson.
Now that’s special.
Jax recently teamed up with Simple Plan for a reworked version of their track ‘Iconic’.
Pope, meanwhile, had played alongside Yellowcard and Michelle Branch earlier in the weekend and Reddick and Higgenson had performed with their respective bands too.
This huge array of artists all coming together was one of the highlights of a phenomenal weekend, and you can catch a snippet of what it was like via the video below.
