Watch: The Offspring Bring Out Deryck Whibley and Pierre Bouvier For ‘Why Don’t You Get A Job?’

The Offspring had a surprise for gig-goers at their New York show earlier this month, bringing out Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley and Simple Plan’s Pierre Bouvier for a performance of ‘Why Don’t You Get A Job?’.

Performing in Wantagh on September 02, as part of their ‘Let The Bad Times Roll’ tour, the legendary punk-rock outfit brought out a double-whammy of special guests for their 1998 classic.

Of course, both Sum 41 and Simple Plan had been supporting The Offspring on the road, but that doesn’t make the occasion of both frontmen coming out onstage any less special.

You can see that for yourself via the video below.

The sing-a-long arrived around two-thirds into the night’s 18-track setlist, which began with 1994 ‘Smash’ track ‘Come Out And Play’ and finished with all-time classic ‘Self Esteem’ off the same album.

The Offspring, Sum 41 and Simple Plan are all on the lineup for When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas next month, headlined by Green Day and Blink-182.
