In This Moment have shared details of new album ‘Godmode’, and shared its lead single ‘The Purge’ today.
The Grammy-nominated band will be releasing their eighth studio album on October 27.
The 10-track project will include today’s release ‘The Purge’, which has been released with its own Jensen Noen-directed video – have a watch below.
Vocalist Maria Brink has described the new track and the work that went into its brand-new video, saying:
“We are thrilled to unveil ‘The Purge’ to everyone. I am so grateful for how everything flowed to bring this song to life, both sonically and visually.
“[‘Godmode’ producer] Kane Churko and Jensen Noen helped to create this musical & cinematic experience with us and we could not have done it without them.
“The underlying message of the song is to not fall too deeply into the rabbit hole, everything is about finding balance.
“I had a lot of emotions building within me when I approached the song for the first time and after years of holding it all in I finally got to let it out! Enjoy.”
‘Godmode’ will be the follow-up to the band’s 2020 album ‘Mother’ and will also feature a collaboration with Ice Nine Kills vocalist Spencer Charnas.
