The new 12-track project is set to arrive on November 03 via Solid State Records.

That date is a unique one for the band, as it will mark a year exactly since they suffered a horrific van accident, in which their vehicle suddenly flipped on some black ice whilst they were driving through Wyoming.

The crash caused some subsequent struggles with hearing loss for singer Garrett Russell, though eventually led him to have a newfound connection with music and the Silent Planet project.

Have a listen to the project’s new single ‘Collider’ below.

The new track carries a heavy emotional message, with Russell explaining:

“Take all the darkness. All the vitriol, the greed and the vanity; lay it again as dust. Everything can be alchemized. This song is called ‘Collider’.

“It’s about what comes out of our lives when the people we trust and hold closest are the ones who can hurt or betray us the worst.

“We don’t have to run from the pain or be afraid. The dark gives us the energy to make something beautiful.

“The song is about alchemizing the darkness and transforming its negative properties.”

‘Collider’ follows the release of previous tune ‘Antimatter’, which arrived last month and will also feature on the forthcoming LP.
