Between You & Me have announced a UK headline tour which will see the band play a number of major cities throughout February.
The newly-announced run of shows comes off the back of the band’s recent intimate headline tour in their native Australia, as well as their recent single ‘Yeah!’.
And now the pop-punks will be returning to the UK early next year – and will be bringing Broadside and Young Culture along with them as tour support.
Check out the full run of forthcoming tour dates below – and visit the band’s site for more details and to buy tickets.
Feb 16: Bristol Thekla
Feb 17: Leeds Key Club
Feb 18: Glasgow Cathouse
Feb 19: Nottingham Rescue Rooms
Feb 20: Manchester Rebellion
Feb 22: Southampton Joiners
Feb 23: London Underworld
Feb 24: Birmingham Asylum
The band’s recent single sees them at their optimistic best, with frontman Jake Wilson declaring it to be about “living your best life and not caring what anyone else thinks,” adding:
“I imagine this song playing in the montage scene of an early 2000s bratty comedy film. Stylistically it’s a big shift for BYAM, but we wanted to bring beachy summer vibes to a fun and carefree song.”
Have a listen to ‘Yeah!’ below, which saw the band team up once again with Canadian producer Sam Guaiana.
The single was swiftly added to rotation on triple j, and arrived ahead of a massive stint in the USA supporting Knuckle Puck and Real Friends, followed by an Australian tour joining Slowly Slowly on the road upon their return.
BYAM also joined You Me At Six and Set It Off on their recent Australian run, and will no doubt bring the same energy to their forthcoming UK shows.
