With Confidence Frontman Jayden Seeley Announces Debut Solo Single ‘Day Job’

Jayden Seeley, the frontman of With Confidence, has announced his debut solo single, ‘Day Job’.

The news comes a year after With Confidence announced they were parting ways, with the singer rejoining Hopeless Records for the release.

‘Day Job’ has been billed as a track with a sparkling alt pop sound and a 90’s punchiness. It can be pre-ordered now and is set to arrive September 27.

Discussing the new track, Seeley has described what it’s about and how it fits into his previous work with With Confidence, saying:

“‘Day Job’ is a track that doesn’t take itself seriously. On the last With Confidence album I had so much fun writing ‘What You Make It’, and ‘Big Cat Judgement Day’.

“Like ‘Day Job’, both songs are kind of tongue in cheek, and it reminded me that we shouldn’t always take writing music so seriously.

“When you have fun doing it, you usually end up with the best result. I think that mentality has carried over into this solo project, and I’m so excited to keep exploring that feeling.”

As well as being lead vocalist for With Confidence, the Sydney-born, L.A.-based Seeley has also helped other emerging artists, including Ryan Oakes and Zach Hood.
