Blink-182 have started teasing new music, with the launch of a curious new site and band posters appearing in different parts of the world.
Whilst fans await further news around Blink-182’s touring plans – following the postponement of their first few European shows due to an “urgent family matter” for Travis Barker – there is some welcome news.
The band have started teasing the prospect of new music via the launch of a new site, https://www.blink182.com/stall.
The page currently says it’s currently “closed for maintenance” before displaying a video where a janitor cleans Blink-182 graffiti off the wall.
Wait long enough and as the cleaner removes the insignia, he listens to a number of classic tracks, whilst a brief clip of something new is thrown into the mix.
This, coupled with the fact that Blink-182 posters have started emerging across the globe, inscribed with the phrase ‘One More Time’, and it feels almost certain new blink music is on the horizon.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Tom DeLonge had indeed said new blink music was “only weeks away”, having previously described the band’s forthcoming record as the “best album [the band] have ever made”, in an interview promoting his collaboration with Fender for a limited-edition Stratocaster guitar.
