Militarie Gun have kicked-off their 2024 output with the announcement of a brand-new EP, ‘Life Under The Sun’, which is set to drop this Friday, January 26.
As you can likely deduce from the project’s title, the new EP takes a selection of songs from the band’s incredible ‘Life Under The Gun’ album from last year, and strips them back to put frontman Ian Shelton’s immensely personal songwriting at the fore.
The new EP will feature previously released singles ‘Never Fucked Up Twice’, featuring Bully’s Alicia Bognanno and ‘Very High (Under The Sun)’.
It will also entail new single ‘My Friends Are Having A Hard Time’ featuring Manchester Orchestra, which has just dropped with a new video that you can check out below.
There’ll be another feature on the EP too – with Mannequin Pussy joining for ‘Will Logic’ – and a cover of the NOFX’s ‘Whoops I OD’d’

The EP arrives as Militarie Gun prepare to kick-off their North American headline tour next week, with a 31-date run of shows taking place until March 09.
Support will come from Pool Kids and Spiritual Cramp, with Death Lens, Spaced, and Roman Candle set to join on select dates.
