Slipknot’s Mysterious New Member Might Have Been Revealed

Slipknot’s mysterious new member might have inadvertently been revealed in a now-deleted Instagram post.

The band’s percussionist Michael Pfaff – who’s nicknamed ‘Tortilla Man’ due to how his mask resembles the food item – posted a picture backstage which has given the biggest clue yet over the identity of the new band member.

The photo showed Pfaff in front of a rack of clothes which have the band member’s government names on.

One of the names it showed was ‘Zac’, leading many to think the new role has been given to Zac Baird – a keyboardist who has played with the likes of Korn and Ghost.

The vacancy in the band comes after Slipknot announced the departure of Craig Jones last month, just before the start of their European tour. At the time, Slipknot put out a message which read simply:

“To our fans, Slipknot is announcing that we have parted ways with Craig Jones. We wish Jones all the best for the future.”

The band then posted an image of a new masked member who had performed with the band at Austria’s Nova Rock Festival the night prior, prompting much speculation and fan theories over the identity of the new keyboardist.

And now, whilst nothing’s been concretely verified, we may well have our biggest suggestion yet.
