Spanish Love Songs have shared the final single ahead of their forthcoming album ‘No Joy’: the beautiful ‘Marvel’.
The buzz around the forthcoming Spanish Love Songs album just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
And the band’s new single ‘Marvel’ only adds to that.
Following the release of tracks ‘Haunted’, ‘Clean-up Crew’ and ‘Pendulum’, it’s one of the more upbeat offerings so far from the L.A. outfit – have a listen via its lyric video below.
Describing where the track originated, Spanish Love Songs guitarist and vocalist and guitarist Dylan Slocum wrote:
“‘Marvel’ is the backbone of the album thematically.
“It was written for a friend, and the chorus was a throwaway joke that has just sort of stuck. It’s probably the most positive song I’ve ever written, and a response to every complaint I’ve ever lodged in other songs.
“Find the things you need to stay afloat. Piss off the cosmic forces that would see you perish. Find what you need. Stay alive.”
Earlier this week, Spanish Love Songs announced a US tour supporting Hot Mulligan, set to take place after their first-ever tour in Australia.
These two incredible bands are also currently gearing up for their joint UK and EU tour, set to commence at the very end of this month, August 31, at Pryzm, Kingston.
