Both Rage Against The Machine’s Zack De La Rocha and Jack Black of Tenacious D showed up at a special Run The Jewels shows over the weekend.
The show at L.A.’s Hollywood Palladium was part of a special anniversary tour to mark a decade since the release of Run The Jewels’ debut album.
And to help them celebrate, they brought out a number of guests, including Zack De La Rocha and Jack Black.
Both appearances were special in their own way: De La Rocha was appearing after tearing his Achilles tendon last year, which forced Rage Against The Machine to cancel both 2022 and 2023 dates; Jack Black, meanwhile, was his usual extravagant self, emerging onstage singing Queen classic ‘We Are The Champions’.
De La Rocha, meanwhile, was at the second of the Palladium shows, and joined Run The Jewels for ‘Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck)’, which was originally released on the hip hop due’s second album, ‘Run The Jewels 2’
