Charlotte Sands has shared brand-new single ‘Pity’.
The new track is the latest to come from her forthcoming ‘Can We Start Over?’ album, which arrives January 24.
As well as the brand-new track, Charlotte has also announced a huge world tour, set to kick-off in Austin in March before dates across the rest of the States, Australia, Europe and then shows in the UK – including Download Festival.
Have a listen to brand-new track ‘Pity’ via its black-and-white video below.
‘Pity’ follows the release of singles ‘Use Me’ and ‘Get Over It’ and has been described in-depth by the singer, who’s explained:
“‘pity’ is a song about meeting ‘the perfect person’ and wishing you could be more like them.
“It’s about the feeling of jealousy and comparing yourself but also about the experience of being captivated by someone else’s existence.
“Making this song was such a fun experience, I wanted the production to feel like a high energy show opener while the melody stayed simple and repetitive so everyone could scream the words together when we finally get to perform it live.”
