Fiddlehead Share Powerful New Single ‘Fifteen To Infinity’

Fiddlehead have shared a final cut from their forthcoming album ‘Death Is Nothing To Us’ before its release, as well as announcing 2024 UK tour dates with MSPAINT.

The band’s latest single – titled ‘Fifteen To Infinity’ – comes just a few days before the release of Fiddlehead’s highly anticipated third album, ‘Death Is Nothing To Us’, which will arrive on August 18 via Run For Cover Records.

Following the release of previous album singles, ‘Sleepyhead’ and ‘Sullenboy', this one comes with an epic music video directed by the band’s own guitarist, Alex Henery.

You can watch the video and listen to ‘Fifteen To Infinity’ below:

Speaking of the inspirations behind the music video, Alex Henery has said:

“Since I knew this was a love song, I asked Pat if there were any specific early memories of him and his now wife. He told me they used to be pretty adventurous, and enjoyed breaking into abandoned buildings and go cliff jumping as teens. There was something there that sparked my interest to make a video about a Bonny and Clyde style couple but with more petty theft rather than murder and robbing banks. That contrasts with the original idea of the song that states that even the simple moments of a relationship like watching TV together are special and ‘heavenly.’ I wanted the two moments to go hand in hand. That one isn’t more special than the other.

The guitarist has been flexing his creative muscles as a filmmaker recently, also creating a companion video for Turnstile’s collaborative EP with alt-jazz ensemble BADBADNOTGOOD.

‘Fifteen To Infinity’ is the final glimpse of the Boston outfit’s forthcoming album, ‘Death Is Nothing To Us’, which will follow 2021’s ‘Between the Richness’ and complete the thematic trilogy of Fiddlehead records that also includes their 2018 debut, ‘Springtime and Blind’.

Following its release, Fiddlehead have announced a UK tour for 2024 with support from the hotly tipped MSPAINT, as well as an extra date at London’s Garage after the first sold-out.
