The promoters for Foo Fighters’ 2024 UK stadium tour have spoken of the “unprecedented demand” for tickets.
Pre-sale for the ‘Everything Or Nothing At All’ tour began yesterday, Wednesday 28 June, and SJM Concerts spoke of the enormous demand for tickets, after announcing an additional Manchester date (June 15) for the tour.
The group said in a statement yesterday: “We’ve seen unprecedented demand for the Foo Fighters pre-sale this morning. It’s absolutely phenomenal.”
DF Concerts’ Geoff Ellis and Paul Cardow of PCL, meanwhile, added: “Not unexpectedly, it’s flying out. We can’t wait for next June!”
News of the tour followed the Foos not-so-secret set at Glastonbury, where they’d initially gone under the mysterious name of The ChurnUps on the line-up.
It also comes in the wake of the legendary band’s latest album ‘But Here We Are’, which became Dave Grohl and co.’s sixth UK Number 1 album.
Support on the various dates for next year’s stadium tour will come from Wet Leg, Shame, Hot Milk, Courtney Barnett, Honeyblood, Loose Articles and Himalayas.
Tickets go on general sale this Friday, June 30 at 9am BST.
