The Welsh rock outfit will kick things off at Sneaky Petes in Edinburgh on June 16, before winding their way through Leeds, Newcastle, Nottingham and Bristol.

They’ll then support none other than Foo Fighters at the Principality Stadium in their hometown of Cardiff – wrapping-up a headline tour doesn’t really get much better than that.

What’s more, today’s newly-announced dates will arrive after their support of Taking Back Sunday later this month, at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum on March 27, and Cardiff’s University Great Hall on March 28.

Last week saw the release of the band’s latest single ‘V.O.V.’, was co-written by legendary AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson, who gifted the band the lyrics via a mutual friend after hearing the band play.

Brian said of the band and why he chose to bestow them the lyrics:

“When I was played their recordings, I immediately thought they were the perfect band for the song; the attack they bring to V.O.V is musical violence, brilliant!!”

The four-piece added of the track and their collaborator:

“V.O.V is a song of resistance and struggle against violence and suffering. We wanted to talk of contrasting worlds and how the cracks between them are so readily paved over.

“Brian was really complimentary of our music and what we had achieved so far, something we were really grateful for.”

And now you’ll have a chance to catch Himalayas live on their newly-announced headline tour. Might a cameo from Brian be on the cards? Stranger things have happened.
