In This Moment Share Cover Of Björk’s ‘Army Of Me’

In This Moment have shared an enthralling cover of Björk’s ‘Army Of Me’.

The reworked version is taken from the Grammy-nominated band’s forthcoming ‘GODMODE’ album, which arrives October 27 via BMG.

It follows the release of the album’s lead single ‘The Purge’ and its emphatic title track.

Describing why the band opted for a cover of Björk’s track, which is taken from the Icelandic icon’s sophomore album ‘Post’, In This Moment vocalist Maria Brink has said:

“I was a teenager when I first got into Bjork. I was mesmerized by her. She has a really inspiring energy to a lot of her stuff, an enlightening feeling.

“She’s just so innovative and groundbreaking and inspiring and magical.”

Guitarist Chris Howorth, meanwhile, has added:

“Maria played me three different Björk songs to see which I thought would be the best. This was the one.

“I didn’t know it was gonna come out as cool as it is. It’s so rockin’.”

‘Godmode’ will be the follow-up to the band’s 2020 album ‘Mother’ and will also feature a collaboration with Ice Nine Kills vocalist Spencer Charnas.
