Skindred To Be Supported By BLACKGOLD On UK Headline Tour

Skindred have announced the tour support for their forthcoming UK headline tour, with BLACKGOLD set to join them on the road.

BLACKGOLD will be the main tour support for every show bar Skindred’s two nights in Ireland where Raging Speedhorn will support instead.

The huge run of Skindred gigs taking place throughout October and November will see the Welsh ragga-metallers in fine form following the release of their recent ‘Smile’ album, which peaked at Number 2 in the Official Charts.

As a sign of their ever-growing popularity, the tour is now almost completely sold out, with only a handful of tickets remaining for the shows in Newcastle and Belfast.

BLACKGOLD will likewise be coming in hot, following the release of their ‘Volume 2’ EP in May, which contains the likes of singles ‘Villain’, ‘Boogeyman’ and ‘On Another Level’

Discussing the hype around their forthcoming tour, and the acts that’ll be joining them, Skindred drummer Arya Goggin has said:

“Skindred is always about supporting the next wave of exciting new artists coming through and on this tour we wanted to try and help shine a light on a few amazing new bands that we are excited about and that we think our fans will love too.

“We want to encourage people to come to our shows early and to get into the party atmosphere and to enjoy the likes of Lake Malice, Cody Frost, Graphic Nature, Saint Agnes, Archives and Idle Discourse. With of course main support Blackgold too.”

These forthcoming shows will precede a handful of even bigger Skindred events taking place in March next year, including their OVO Wembley Arena slot on March 15.
