Ville Valo To Play Royal Albert Hall As Part Of Newly-Announced World Tour

Nine months on from the release of his ‘Neon Noir’ album, Ville Valo has announced a world tour – which will see him play London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

The tour that’s set to close a chapter on VV’s ‘Neon Noir’ era will also see the return of the Valo-curated Helldone Festival, taking place on December 31 to see out there year.

From there, the huge run of dates will see the former HIM frontman play shows across the globe in 2024, following nights in South America and Mexico later this year.

News of the tour doesn’t just follow the release of ‘Neon Noir’, of course, but comes amid the start of another major VV tour, with his co-headline tour of North America alongside Black Veil Brides now in motion.

Likewise, VV recently featured on the front cover of Rock Sound, with an 18-page feature providing insight into not only the making of ‘Neon Noir’ but a career-spanning delve into Ville Valo’s entire journey.

Plus, we’ve teamed up with VV to create this exclusive heartagram t-shirt, delivered worldwide and only available at SHOP.ROCKSOUND.TV.

Whilst the recent Rock Sound feature explores VV’s entire artistic history, the former HIM singer has added that the forthcoming world tour will mark both the conclusion of his ‘Neon Noir’ cycle and end of his latest reincarnation, saying:

“The idea behind VV and 'Neon Noir’ was to symbolically finish what HIM started, and after the bangs and whimpers at the Royal Albert Hall it’s time to reshuffle the pieces of the puzzle once again and give Herbert West a shout.

“I had no expectations whatsoever when releasing music under the banner of VV, so I’ve been quite shocked to see people still find my kind of racket enjoyable, warts and all.

“Touring has been way less painful than I dared to hope, and as we say in Finland, it fits my arse like a glove. A mourning glove from a bygone era.”
