RØRY has released her latest single: the emotive, pared-back ‘The Apology I’ll Never Receive’.
The new track follows in the confessional songwriting footsteps of other recently released tracks ‘ALTERNATIVE’ and ‘hurt myself’ – except this latest number is particularly personal.
‘The Apology I’ll Never Receive’ explores the relationship between the singer and her father, and the apology she’s seeking.

Speaking more about some of the pain expressed in the song, the singer has said:
“I have spent years waiting for my father to say sorry. I felt like I couldn’t move on from the pain without some kind of acknowledgement.
“I have been desperate for it… eventually I decided to write it myself. And that is this song.”
“There are so many people out there who have been shamed, and scapegoated by their own families. I truly hope this can be healing for them to hear.”
RØRY began her career as a platinum-selling songwriter with writing credits for the likes of The All American Rejects, You Me At Six, Charli XCX and NOAHFINNCE, to name a few – but now, she’s making serious headway as an artist in her own right.
Since performing her first UK headline show in 2022, she’s amassed a strong following – both for her live shows and on her socials – and has over twenty million streams on Spotify alone.
